Sienly is a 30-year-old electrician from Cambodia. He has two sisters and two brothers, and he enjoys watching TV and listening to music in his free time.
Last October, Sienly was electrocuted while working on a roof, burning both of his wrists. He sustained painful wounds on both wrists, making it difficult for him to use them.
Sienly first came to our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), for treatment in January 2017. Surgeons performed initial procedures on his left hand. They performed a groin flap procedure and sewed a skin flap over the soft tissue defect. The skin flap has healed, and now Sienly returns to CSC to continue his treatment.
On February 13, surgeons at CSC will perform a procedure to divide his hand from his groin area. After he heals from the surgery, Sienly will be able to use his left hand easily again. CSC is requesting $450 to fund this procedure.
