Sienly is a 30-year-old electrician. He has two sisters and two brothers. In his free time, Sienly likes to watch TV and listen to music.
In October of 2016, Sienly electrocuted himself while he was working on his roof. Both of his wrists were burned. Sienly went to his province’s district hospital for treatment, but his symptoms did not improve. The painful burns limited his ability to move his wrists. He was referred to our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), for further treatment.
Sienly first came to CSC on January 10, 2017, when surgeons performed a debridement procedure to remove damaged and infected tissue from his left wrist. However, to recover fully, he still needs further treatment.
On January 17, Sienly will return to Children’s Surgical Centre. Surgeons will perform another debridement procedure, as well as a skin flap surgery, to heal his wounds. These procedures will allow him to comfortably use his wrists again. CSC is requesting $450, which will pay for his surgery and four nights in the hospital.
