Eunice is a grandmother from Kenya. She is married and a mother of nine children.
About one year ago, Eunice developed a cataract in her right eye, causing her loss of vision. A cataract occurs when the lens of the eye becomes opaque, blurring vision.
Fortunately, Eunice is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Surgeons will remove and replace the blurred lens. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $220 procedure.
Eunice says, “I don’t want to keep bothering my children to guide me everywhere. I wish to have my eye sight restored to allow me ease of movement.”
