Agnes is a 31-year-old woman from Uganda. She is a mother of two children; her firstborn is six years old, and her second-born is two. Agnes has spent most of her life as a small-scale farmer, working side by side with her husband to raise their family. Together, they cultivate their small piece of land near the hills of Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Africa, growing food to sustain their household.
Agnes is currently expecting her third child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Agnes undergo a C-Section on December 12th. This procedure will cost $214, and Agnes needs your support.
Agnes says, “I really appeal to be helped so that I may have the recommended surgery done on me as am unable to take care of the surgery costs on my own. I am hopeful that if I get support, I will have a successful surgery, and it will be with a good outcome.”
