Panha is a 5-year-old pre-school student from Cambodia. Her parents are both hairdressers. She has two older sisters who attend elementary school. She and her sisters all play together at home and, she told us, like to share toys with each other. At school, Panha most enjoys listening to stories and drawing pictures.
Three days ago, Panha developed a fever, and her mother noticed swelling and redness on her right ear. This swollen area has become painful, and pus has started to discharge.
Panha traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On January 5th, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), will remove the mass in her ear and treat her infection. Now, Panha’s family needs help to raise $231 to fund this procedure.
Panha’s mother said, “I am worried that this problem happened so quickly. I hope that the doctors can help my daughter soon and that she will be happy and healthy, so that she can go back to school.”
