Michael is an eight-year-old boy from Kenya. He and his brothers were raised in a home for children.
Michael was born with hypospadias, a congenital abnormality that causes urinary dysfunction. Without treatment, he will continue to experience uncomfortable symptoms and will be at risk of infertility.
Fortunately, Michael’s guardian and nurse from the children’s home took him to our medical partner’s care center, BethanyKids Kijabe Hospital. He is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on June 2nd. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $841 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
Michael said, “My favourite subject is Mathematics, and I would love to be a tour guide when I grow up. My guardian has no money for my surgery, but I’m hoping you can help me.”
