Manuel is a 30-year-old farmer from a village in Malawi. He lives with his wife and their one child. When Manuel is not busy farming, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his friends.
For the past year, Manuel has been experiencing pain from an inguinal hernia. This condition is easily treated surgically, but he has been unable to access treatment. The pain made it difficult for Manuel to work, jeopardizing his family’s well-being.
Fortunately, Manuel underwent hernia repair surgery on August 30. He needs help to fund this $327 procedure.
Manuel and his wife are looking forward to his return home.
“I hope to be free from the pain,” Manuel shares.
