Chamroeun is a 32-year-old construction worker from Cambodia who is married with two sons. In his free time, he likes to watch the news on TV.
About six months ago, Chamroeun developed a cataract in his right eye. This has caused him to have blurred vision, burning, and irritation in his eye. As a result, it is difficult for him to see things clearly, work, or go anywhere outside by himself.
Chamroeun traveled for one and a half hours with his wife to reach our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), for treatment.
On June 6, eye surgeons at CSC will remove the cataract from Chamroeun’s right eye so that he will be able to see clearly again. He is requesting $153 to cover the total cost of the procedure.
