Mwebesa is a two-year-old boy from Uganda. He is the youngest of four children in his family.
Mwebesa was born with a swelling on his right scrotum, which was later diagnosed as a hydrocele. If his condition is left untreated, Mwebesa may feel pain and discomfort as the swelling increases over time.
Mwebesa is scheduled to undergo surgery to correct his condition on June 21. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $185 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
“My son needs surgery, but I am unable to pay for it, so I am requesting assistance,” said Mwebesa’s mother.
