Little Parbin is an active nine-year-old from Nepal who loves playing cricket and spending time with his family.
A few days ago, Parbin fell off a ladder at home and fractured his right hand. With pain, swelling, and immobility already setting in, doctors at our partner in Nepal warn that this injury “will affect his education and may lead to lifelong deformity” if he doesn’t receive immediate treatment.
For $1,040, we can help Parbin overcome the number one barrier to treatment in his area of Nepal; access to care. We’ll be funding transportation, accompaniment, and coordination for his journey to the capital for surgery. This will give him a shot at a totally functional hand and enable him to pursue school and normal activities like any other kid!
