Festo a 37-year-old man who lives in Uganda. Festo repairs shoes for income to support his family and his children’s school fees. During his free time, he enjoys playing with his children and asking them about school. He also enjoys working as a secretary in the local church in his village.
For 15 years, Festo has had pain in his right inguinal region. When the pain became worse, Festo came to the hospital, and his doctor diagnosed him with an inguinal hernia. The doctor recommended he have a hernia repair to relieve the pain and discomfort.
Fortunately, with the help of our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, Festo is scheduled to receive his treatment on August 4. After his treatment, Festo hopes to learn more skills in shoe repairing. Now, he needs help raising $229.
