Deus is a 62-year-old farmer who was widowed many years ago and worked hard to raise her seven children on her own.
For four years now, Deus has been experiencing significant lower abdominal pain and other troubling symptoms. She is very worried about her condition, which limits her daily activities, and makes it difficult for her to pursue her farming.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is here to help Deus access the care that she needs. The doctors at Karoli Lwanga Hospital in Nyakibale, diagnosed Deus with a uterine prolapse. On June 9th, Deus will undergo a hysterectomy to resolve her condition, and to enable her to return to an active life without pain. African Mission Healthcare Foundation is requesting $243 to fund her procedure.
Deus says: “After a long while with this condition, I look forward to the restoration of my health with your support. Hopefully, I will resume my work on recovery.”
