Hellen is a 61-year-old widow, mother of nine, and grandmother of ten from Kenya. She is a small-scale farmer, growing maize, beans, and vegetables on about half an acre, and keeps a dairy cow whose milk helps support the household.
In 2025, Hellen noticed a painless swelling in a sensitive area. Instead of disappearing, it gradually enlarged and began protruding outside. She first sought advice from community health promoters and later bought over-the-counter medicines, but the swelling did not improve. She has been diagnosed with hemorrhoids and needs surgery to address her symptoms and prevent them from worsening.
Fortunately, our medical partner, IcFEM Dreamland Mission Hospital, is helping Hellen receive treatment. She is scheduled to undergo a hemorrhoidectomy on September 17th. During this procedure, surgeons will remove her hemorrhoids. Now, Hellen needs your help to raise $552 to support the cost of the surgery and care.
Hellen says, “I pray for all of you that God may bless you and enable you to continue supporting others. I truly appreciate your help, and I look forward to a successful surgery.”
