Kyogabirwe is a 43-year-old mother with two children. Her husband is a fishmonger, while she is a small-scale farmer.
Kyogabirwe has had lower abdominal pain for about three months. She has been diagnosed with an ovarian mass. It has been recommended that she undergo a cystectomy to treat the condition.
Surgery has been scheduled for April 11. This procedure will improve her quality of life. Now, our medical partner is requesting $220 in funding.
Kyogabirwe says, “I will have a better life after surgery and I continue with cultivation for the support to my family.”
