When Djemsley was four-months-old, he started having seizures. His mother took him to our medical partner, Project Medishare, where he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, fluid buildup in the brain.
Djemsley’s mother is extremely worried about him. Hydrocephalus causes extra pressure on Djemsley’s nerves and blood vessels, putting him at increased risk of a stroke and vision loss.
For $1,260, Djemsley will receive surgery to drain the excess fluid in his skull. Doctors say this will considerably decrease his risk of growing up paralyzed or having nerve damage. Let’s help relieve his mom’s worries and afford Djemsley a normal life!
