Kazigati is a farmer from Uganda. She is a mother of eight children. She has not been able to work recently because of her health.
For seventeen years, Kazigati has had an epigastric hernia. The hernia causes her pain, especially after meals. Fortunately, on December 20, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Kazigati’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
She says, “The doctor told me that I will benefit from surgery but I am unable to pay for it. I need help.’’

She says, “After recovery I will do any work at home and resume farming; it’s the source of food for my family. Thank you so much Watsi for paying for my surgery; I was unable to pay for it myself. I am very grateful and appreciative to Watsi. I can’t thank you enough. God bless you always.’’
