This smiling young man is Kosal, a 26-year-old electrician from Cambodia who was recently married. A year ago, Kosal was in an accident and fractured his hip and pelvis. He sought treatment immediately, and was doing well,. Then he began to suffer from complications that his primary care doctors couldn’t address.
Now, Kosal feels extreme pain when walking even relatively short distances. His injury healed improperly, and his left leg is now over an inch shorter than his right. Kosal needs surgery on his hip to fuse the bones correctly, and allow him to finally heal, restore mobility and reduce pain.
Fortunately, our medical partner in Cambodia can make this happen. $300 is all it will take to fund this corrective surgery, and help this young man get comfortably back on his feet.
