Samuel is a father of three. He is a businessman who trades in bananas, selling them from door to door. He did not study much but proudly desires to see his children attain the highest level of education. His eldest child is in college while the others are in primary school.
For four years, Samuel has had abdominal hernia. For the last six months, the hernia has been causing him pain especially when he is straining. He is worried that without treatment, the hernia might become strangulated, affecting his output and thus his family income. He needs surgery but is not able to raise the funds needed. He appeals for help. Fortunately, on December 8th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $230 to fund Samuel’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Samuel says “I trust that I will get healed and continue hustling to see that I get my children where I want them to be once am operated.”
