This is Eunice, a 23-year-old woman from Kenya! Eunice is a fantastic cook, a mother of two children, and works as a chef at a primary school.
Eunice’s husband is a maternal care worker at Watsi’s medical partner in Kenya, Lwala Community Alliance. Eunice teaches her children to always respect their elders, and she promotes going to church and eating together as a family. Eunice says, “I hope to save money and start a business for family upkeep during school holidays.”
Eunice is pregnant with her third child. Her pregnancy has been causing her heartburn and fatigue, so she has stopped working as a school cook. With this pregnancy, Eunice hopes to deliver her baby at the Lwala facility, where she will be provided prenatal care and a skilled attendant during labor. Checkups for her and her new baby will also be included.
Eunice and her husband’s salary cover just enough for their children’s school fees and their basic needs, but they need help covering the cost of delivery. For $290 we can make sure Eunice has the safe pregnancy and delivery she deserves!
