Nasasira is a primary level student from Uganda. She likes studying and singing. Nasasira is in the care of her grandmother, who is a farmer.
For one month, Nasasira has had an umbilical hernia. This causes her pain and discomfort and affects her school attendance and performance. Fortunately, on November 9, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.

Nasasira’s grandmother says, “I will hve peace of mind and continue with farming to care for my family and to support my granddaughter’s education after her surgery.”
