Ahurra is a baby from Uganda. His father is a farmer, and his mother stays home to take care of him.
Since birth, Ahurra has had an inguinal hernia. The hernia affects his mood and his ability to eat. Fortunately, on March 28, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Ahurra’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “After surgery of my son I will have peace of mind and my son will no longer spend sleepless nights crying.”

Ahurra did not receive treatment as expected.
Unfortunately, Ahurra’s surgery was postponed several times because he had a persistent cough that was not responding to medication. Now, his mother has stopped responding to our medical partner’s calls. If she does bring him back to the care center, he will be re-eligible for Watsi treatment.
