Hildah is a 32-year-old mother of two from Uganda. She and lives with her husband and their two children. Hildah’s husband is a trained secondary school teacher, but has not found formal employment. Hildah runs a small business to earn income for her family.
She is currently in her fourth pregnancy, having lost one pregnancy before. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Hildah undergo a C-Section on September 1st. This procedure will cost $214, and Hildah needs your support.
Hildah says, “I have worked hard to support my family, but my small business does not provide enough to meet all our needs. After losing one pregnancy before, I am praying for the safe arrival of this baby, but I am worried because I cannot afford the operation I have been advised to undergo. I humbly appeal to the donors to stand with me and help me receive the care I need. Your support will give me hope, protect my life and my baby, and allow me to return home to my children. May your kindness bring hope to my family when we need it most.”
