Akoragye is a baby from Uganda. Her mother is a secretary, while her father irons clothes for people.
For one year, Akoragye has had umbilical hernia. This hernia causes her weakness and pain. Fortunately, on August 21, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Akoragye’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
Akoragye’s mother says, “I look forward to being happy after my child has received treatment and surgery.”
