Ly is a rice and potato farmer from Cambodia. He has been married for twenty years and has two sons and four daughters. He likes to maintain his vegetable garden and read books about Buddhism.
Two months ago, Ly was cranking a lever to start a machine but hit his forearm against something hard, causing a fracture. It is difficult for him to use his hand and arm, and he is in chronic pain.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On February 7, Ly will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. This procedure will help him move and use his hand again.
He says, “After the operation, I hope I can use my hand normally again and without pain.”
