Chimanizanye is a farmer from Uganda. She is married and a mother of six children. Chimanizanye and her husband cultivate food for both home consumption and for sale to raise school fees for their children.
For 15 years, Chimanizanye has had an epigastric hernia. The swelling causes her pain and makes her lose her appetite. Fortunately, on February 8, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Chimanizanye’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
She says, “I am in need of surgery but I am unable to pay for my treatment. I need help from Watsi organization.”
