Albanus is a resilient eight-year-old boy from Kenya. The young boy was found by a children’s home in a very vulnerable condition. He was emaciated, weak, and sick.
Over the past few months at the children’s home, Albanus’s health has improved tremendously. Unfortunately, he still experiences irregularity urinating and has been diagnosed with hypospadias, a malformation in which the urethral orifice is abnormally positioned. Without treatment, Albanus may suffer persistent urinary tract infections and might never be able to pass urine normally.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $700 to fund hypospadias repair surgery for Albanus. The procedure is scheduled to take place on June 19 and, once completed, will hopefully relieve Albanus of the former infections and urinary dysfunction that he had been experiencing.
Albanus’s guardian expresses gratitude, saying, “You will be a great miracle to Albanus if you help fund for his surgery.”
