Shallon is a 31 year-old mother of three from Uganda. She is a homemaker who lives with her husband and three children in a rented two-room brick house. All three children attend nearby schools, but meeting their educational needs has become increasingly difficult because the family depends entirely on her husband’s modest income as a boda boda rider around Kabale Town.
Much of Shallon’s daily life is devoted to caring for her children and managing household responsibilities. She is currently expecting her fourth child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Shallon undergo a C-Section on September 1st. This procedure will cost $214, and Shallon needs your support.
Shallon says, “I am deeply grateful for the care I have received, but I am worried because my family cannot afford the operation I need. I humbly appeal to the donors to stand with me and help me safely welcome my baby. Your support will give me hope, protect my life and my baby’s life, and allow me to return to my three children. May your kindness become the hope of a mother and the future of a family.”
