Channa is a 9-year-old boy with congenital cataracts. Because of his condition, Channa can only see about a half meter in front of him and everything is blurry. He is only in the second grade, as his disability makes school very difficult. Without treatment, Channa will likely lose his vision forever.
Fortunately, doctors at Children’s Surgical Centre can perform surgery on Channa that will completely restore his vision. Channa’s mom wants him to have the surgery so that he can work hard in school, skip a grade, and be in a class with people his own age. Let’s help Channa get the treatment he needs to catch up!
