Nanda is a 65-year-old woman from Nepal with a fractured hip, fractured radius, vertically displaced femur, and mass in her sternum. She desperately needs surgery to repair her broken bones and enable her to lead a normal life. Without immediate treatment, Nanda’s doctors say she “will never walk again.”
Nanda is a widow who lives by herself. She sustained these injuries when she fell 10 feet from a tree while gathering food for her goat, which is her only source of livelihood. There is no way Nanda can afford the medical care she needs. Let’s make sure she’s taken care of and has a chance at a healthy future.
Note: Nanda’s case is an emergency. Nyaya Health plans to treat her within the next few days in anticipation of Watsi funding.
