James is a young student from Kenya. He is a third grade student aspiring to become a truck driver in the future. He is an only child to his young parents. James’s parents are subsistence farmers.
James was diagnosed with cryptorchidism, a condition in which one or both of the testicles remains undescended. If left untreated, James has an increased risk of developing hernias, testicular cancer, and fertility problems in the future.
James will be receiving assistance from our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMHF). Fortunately, he is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on February 23. AMHF is requesting $542 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
“I want to be a lorry driver when I grow up,” shares James.
