Hassan is three-year-old boy from Tanzania. He loves playing with his friends. Hassan’s mother is a subsistence farmer.
Hassan has clubfoot of both feet. Clubfoot is a condition in which the foot is twisted out of shape. This causes difficulty walking and even wearing shoes. He can only crawl, and it hurts to stand.
Fortunately, Hassan traveled to visit our medical partner’s care center, AIC Cure International Hospital. There, surgeons will perform clubfoot repair surgery on December 12. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $890 to fund Hassan’s clubfoot repair. After treatment, He will be able to walk normally.
Hassan’s mother says, “I am so glad that my son will get a second chance at treatment. I had lost all hope. Thank you for helping my son get this treatment.”
