Lyly is an 18-year-old girl from Cambodia with two brothers, who works as a farmer. Lyly enjoys spending time at home and cooking for her family. She traveled three hours with her mom to reach our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), for treatment.
Lyly was in a moto accident on February 7th, 2016. This accident caused a left femoral neck fracture. It is difficult for her to walk and she is in pain.
Surgeons at CSC decided the best course would be an open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) procedure, a surgical procedure used to fix severe bone fractures. $405 will cover the cost of this procedure. After the operation, Lyly will be able to walk easily again.
Let’s help make it possible!
