Molly is a 34-year-old from Uganda, and a mother of four children; three boys and one girl. She lives with her mother and her husband. Molly and her husband engage in small-scale farming to provide food for their household, and to earn a modest income.
Molly has been living with a swelling in a sensitive area for the past nine years. The condition began after she sustained a cut from a razor blade. Since then, the swelling has progressively increased in size and now affects the lower part of her body. She is increasingly worried that the condition may worsen if it is not treated. The swelling is itchy and sometimes causes pain, significantly affecting her daily life.
Molly learned about our medical partner’s care center, Rwibaale Hospital, during a medical outreach, and was advised to visit the facility for further evaluation and treatment.
Molly has been diagnosed with a mass, and has been scheduled for surgery on June 2nd. Now, Molly’s family needs help to raise $153 to fund this procedure.
Molly says, “I hope me and my husband will be at peace again after my treatment, and can plan to have another baby.”
