Muyambi is a child from Uganda. He is the last born in a family of three children. His mother is a small-scale farmer, while his father is a motorbike taxi operator.
For one month, Muyambi has had a bilateral inguinal hernia. Muyambi is in a lot of discomfort and often cries. If not treated, the hernia could lead to intestinal tissue twisting and blocking. Fortunately, on April 5, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Muyambi’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “I hope my son will get better after surgery and I continue with my work of cultivation.”
