Srey Neeth is a 13-year-old fourth grade student from Cambodia. She has two sisters and two brothers. In her free time, she likes to read her school books, listen to music, and play sports.
Srey Neeth has osteogenesis imperfecta, a condition that causes her weak bones to break easily. Due to her condition, she fractured her left tibia in April 2012 and her right femur in April 2013.
On March 27, Srey Neeth with undergo orthopedic surgery at Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre, our medical partner’s care center. Surgeons will perform an open reduction internal fixation procedure on her left tibia and left femur to fixate rods and stabilize her bones. Our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, is asking for $411 to cover the cost of her treatment.
Srey Neeth is looking forward to a complete recovery!
