Da is a woman from Cambodia. In November 2018, Da suffered from a recurrent ear infection that resulted in hearing loss and tinnitus. Doctors gave her medicine in an attempt to clear the infection, but it was unsuccessful.
She will now undergo surgery to clear the fluid and mucus behind her eardrum, which will allow her to hear clearly and ultimately resolve the infection. Surgery is scheduled for April 30 and will cost $127.
She says, “I hope that after my surgery, I can return to my daily activities, such as looking after my kids and watching television, without any difficulty.”
