Mzee is a farmer with a wife and six kids from Malawi. He enjoys fishing and chatting with his friends in his free time.
For four months, Mzee has been experiencing pain and urinary difficulty. These symptoms are caused by an enlarged prostate, a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia. He needs to undergo a prostate resection surgery, a procedure in which surgeons will remove part of the enlarged gland.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $733 to fund Mzee’s surgery. On November 1, he will undergo prostate surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and two weeks of hospital stay. He is looking forward to relief from pain. He is eager to complete the operation and begin recovery.
He says, “I am thanking God for this program which will help me get better and be able to work again. Please continue to help others like me in this way. Thank you!”
