Liford is a 67-year-old Malawian farmer who lives with his wife of many years. With the help of his children and grandchildren, Liford works on the family farm and attends to chores around the home. When he has free time, Liford enjoys being with his grandkids and watching them play.
Since last October, Liford has been dealing with urinary dysfunction related to an enlarged prostate. Because of this problem, his quality of life has significantly decreased. Prostate resection, which will remove part of the enlarged prostate gland, is needed in order to relieve Liford of his discomfort.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $733 to fund prostate surgery for Liford. The surgery is scheduled to take place on June 29 and, once completed, will hopefully allow Liford to live more comfortably.
“Thank you for the support,” says Liford.
