Meet Keb, a 75-year-old man from Cambodia. Keb likes listening to the radio and keeps busy spending time with his eight children and eleven grandchildren. This has become increasingly difficult to do since he started losing his vision about a year ago due to cataracts in both eyes.
“Keb is unhappy that he cannot read or see anything at a distance,” our medical partner at Children’s Surgical Centre writes, “and he needs help moving around.”
For $100, we can help CSC provide Keb with a surgery that will break up and remove the cataract in his right eye. He will have a lens implanted which, according to CSC, will “dramatically improve his vision and prevent blindness.”
Keb would love to maintain his independence and be able to live his life without limitations. Let’s help him out!
