Channa is a motorbike repairman from Cambodia. He spends most of his time working at his shop, but enjoys playing soccer with his friends in his free time.
In March of 2018, he was in a motorbike accident near his home that caused a jaw fracture. He went to a hospital immediately and had surgery to fix his jaw with internal wiring. He has run out of money and is ready to get the wires out, which are now uncomfortable and protruding outward.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On December 5, Channa will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $214. This procedure will eliminate the discomfort and improve the function of his jaw.
“I hope my son can feel better and not be in pain,” says his mother.
