Bors Phai is a toddler from Cambodia. He has three siblings and loves to play around his house.
When he was one year old, he accidentally stuck his foot in the cooking fire at home. Burn scar contractures have developed, making it difficult to walk and fit into shoes.
When Bors Phai learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for seven hours seeking treatment. On November 28, surgeons at CSC will perform a burn contracture release surgery to to help him improve function in his foot and be able to wear shoes properly. Now, he needs help to fund this $448 procedure.
His mother says, “I hope my son can get treatment.”
