Eh Blut is a 35-year-old woman from Burma. She lives with her husband, her daughter, and siblings in a refugee camp in Tha Song Yang District, Thailand. Eh Blut is a homemaker, and her husband is a missionary. He does not have a regular income, but he sometimes receives donations. Her daughter is a kindergarten student, and her siblings are in middle school. During her free time, she enjoys reading local short stories for her daughter, reading the Bible, and listening to songs on her phone.
Eh Blut is currently expecting her second child and the doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Eh Blut undergo a C-Section on November 19th at our medical partner’s care center, Tha Song Yang Hospital. This procedure will cost $1500, and Eh Blut needs your support.
Eh Blut said, “When I learned that International Rescue Committee funding stopped in the camp, I worried for my surgery. I do not know how much it will cost, and my family cannot save up any money. I was worried about the financial for the surgery, and now knowing that you will help pay for my surgery costs, I am relieved. Thank you so much for doing a good deed for those who are in need, especially me.”
