Nyongore is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with six children.
For six years, Nyongore has been experiencing lower abdominal pain and headaches. She has been diagnosed with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $208 to fund Nyongore’s surgery. On March 7, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Once recovered, Nyongore will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
Nyongore says, “I hope to get better and continue with cultivation after surgery.”
