Fortunate is a farmer from Uganda. She and her sister grew up at their grandparents’ home after their parents separated. Fortunate got married and gave birth to her first child. When her second child passed away shortly after birth, her husband left. When he left, she discovered she was pregnant.
Due to a high-risk pregnancy, her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Fortunate undergo a C-Section on September 11th. This procedure will cost $252, and Fortunate needs your support.
Fortunate says, “Because of my financial situation, I have passed through a lot but have managed to carry my pregnancy till term; however, I don’t think I will be in a position to pay the money they need to have my surgery, I kindly appeal for your support.”
