Srey Nuth is 22 years old and a young dancer from a rural area in Kandal province, Cambodia. She lives with her parents and is the fourth of five siblings. Her father is a construction worker, and her mother manages household tasks. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and watching the news.
Srey Nuth was recently involved in a road traffic accident that caused a fracture in her left femur. She experiences left knee pain, stiffness, and difficulty walking, which prevents her from performing as a dancer.
On April 6th, Srey will undergo a fracture repair procedure with the help of our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre. This procedure will relieve pain, improve mobility, and allow her to return to work. Her family can contribute $100, but needs help raising $500 more to fund her procedure and care.
Srey Nuth said, “After the surgery, I hope that I will be able to walk without pain, so I can return to my work and earn money to support my family.”
