Katusabe is a farmer from Uganda. He is the father of three children. Katusabe and his wife are farmers.
Three years ago, Katusabe developed an inguinal hernia, a painful swelling in his left inguinal region. The pain prevents him from walking long distances or eating his fill because he experiences constant abdominal discomfort. Fortunately, on December 13, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Katusabe’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Katusabe says, “Hernia has affected my daily works. I feel I don’t have strength to work in my fields. I need help so that I can have surgery. I am unable to pay for it.”
