Deus is a father of three who loves watching football when he is free. He was not able to proceed with school when he was young as his parents could not raise the school fees. He started working at construction sites at a young age and since then, he honed his skills and is now a builder. His wife is a farmer and, together, they are able to fend for their family.
For two years, Deus has had a left inguinal hernia. The hernia was not painful until recently when he had a minor accident at a construction site. He did not have any open fractures or lacerations but his inguinal hernia has since been painful. He came to Nyakibale Hospital and on review, he was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia. He needs surgery but the cost is too high for him to afford. Fortunately, on December 8th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $230 to fund Deus’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Deus says “I’m looking forward to receiving your support for the success of my surgery because the truth is that I am in pain but my finances are limited to enable me to undergo my treatment.”
