Sea is a grocer from Cambodia. She is married and has one son. She enjoys watching Khmer TV dramas in her free time.
A year ago, Sea developed a cataract in her left eye, causing her photophobia and blurry vision. She has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
When Sea learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, she traveled for three and a half hours seeking treatment. On June 11, doctors will perform a small incision cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in her left eye. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $211 procedure.
She says, “I hope my surgery is successful so I can continue selling my food and cooking.”
