Chanthy is a diligent rice farmer from Cambodia who works hard to make ends meet for her family. Chanthy spends her days performing daily chores and working in the rice fields.
Two months ago, Chanthy fell at her house and broke her arm. The treatment that she received from a traditional healer in her village did not help her fracture heal - in fact, it may have made things worse. Because of her arm, Chanthy is having difficulty doing everyday tasks and is limited in her ability to work in the fields.
To regain the use of her arm, Chanthy will need a pinning surgery to reset the bones, allowing them to heal properly. For $300, we can fund Chanthy’s treatment at Children’s Surgical Centre and give her back the use of her arm.
