Albertina is a two-week-old girl from Tanzania, and the youngest child in her family of nine children. Her mother maintains their home and cares for the children, while her father works as a fisherman to provide for the family. Albertina was born with clubfoot on her left foot, a congenital condition in which the foot is turned inward. Without appropriate treatment, this condition can affect her ability to wear shoes and walk comfortably as she grows. Soon after her birth, Albertina's family was referred to our medical partner's care center, Kafika House, for assessment and treatment. The referral gave the family hope that their newborn daughter could receive the specialized care she needed. Albertina is scheduled for treatment, and will be fitted with a foot abduction brace (FAB), which she will wear as part of her treatment plan until the age of five to help prevent her clubfoot from recurring. The treatment will begin on October 20th, and our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $341. After treatment, Albertina will have the opportunity for better mobility, and enjoying her childhood milestones. “We are grateful that our daughter has a chance to receive treatment, and grow up like other children,” said Albertina's mother.

Baby Nardos is a cheerful and playful 8-month-old boy from Ethiopia. He enjoys playing with toys and spending time with other children. He lives with his parents and two older sisters. His father works as a carpenter, while his mother is a homemaker who dedicates her time to caring for the family. Baby Nardos was born with a condition called Hirschprung's disease. This is where a portion of the intestine does not have proper nerve function leaving a child with difficulty with bowel function. Doctors explained that he would need surgery but advised the family to wait until he was older and had grown enough to undergo the procedure. When Nardos was five months old, he was referred to our medical partner's care center, BethanyKids at Myungsung Christian Medical Center (BKMCM), for specialized treatment. Although the family initially felt anxious and uncertain, they were relieved to learn that Nardos could receive the care he needed. Surgeons will remove the part of the intestine that is not working properly and reconnect the healthy intestine to restore proper bowel function. Baby Nardos is scheduled to undergo this surgery on October 25th with the help of our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare. The procedure and follow-up care will cost $1,500, and Baby Nardos needs your help. Srey is a 56-year-old construction worker from Cambodia. She is married and lives in Kampot Province with her husband, who also works as a construction worker. They have four children, three of whom are already married. In her free time, she enjoys growing vegetables around her home. On May 29, 2026, Srey was involved in a motor vehicle accident that caused a fracture of her right ankle. She initially received traditional Khmer medicine for approximately three months. However, her condition did not improve, and follow-up X-rays at a private clinic confirmed that the fracture had not healed properly. Her right ankle is deformed and painful, and she experiences numbness over the top of her foot. She currently relies on a walking frame to move around, making it difficult for her to walk normally, perform daily activities, and continue working as a construction worker. Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, can help. On August 10th, Srey will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will help improve the alignment and stability of her right ankle. Hopefully, it will reduce her pain and numbness, improve her ability to walk, and allow her to return to her daily activities and work more comfortably. She can contribute $50, but needs help raising $550 more for her procedure and care. Srey said, “I hope the treatment will help my ankle heal properly, reduce my pain, and allow me to walk more comfortably again. I want to return to my work and daily activities so I can continue supporting my family.”
